About the Event
Sette Giugno 1919: Memory & Ritual guided tours take place on Wednesday 1 July and Thursday 2 July 2026 at 17:30 at St John’s Co-Cathedral in Valletta. The tours are designed specifically for visitors with visual impairments, offering an inclusive way to engage with the exhibition and the history behind the Sette Giugno events of 1919.
Participants will explore specially created tactile reliefs inspired by the family crests featured on the funeral placards of the four Sette Giugno victims. These tactile elements were developed in collaboration with the Commission for the Rights of Persons with Disability, allowing visitors to experience the exhibition through touch and guided interpretation.
Looking for an accessible cultural event in Malta? These guided tours at St John’s Co-Cathedral offer a free, dedicated experience for visitors with visual impairments, with one accompanying person also able to attend.
