About the Event
- The Malta Philharmonic Orchestra launches its 2026/27 season. • Michael Laus conducts the orchestra, featuring Italian pianist Roberto Cominati as soloist. • Four major orchestral works are performed: Tchaikovsky’s Polonaise from Eugene Onegin, Schumann’s Piano Concerto in A minor, Richard Strauss’ Don Juan, and Respighi’s I Pini di Roma. • The concert runs from 19:30 to 21:30 at the Mediterranean Conference Centre (MCC) in Valletta. • Tickets are priced at EUR 20 and EUR 30 for adults. • Discounted tickets for students and senior citizens start at EUR 12. • A free shuttle service from Floriana is available with advance booking by 17:00 on September 2, 2026. • The minimum admission age is 5+.
