MALTA INTERNATIONAL FOOD FESTIVAL 2026

The Malta International Food Festival 2026 takes place from Wednesday 5 to Sunday 9 August 2026 at The Granaries in Floriana, running daily from 18:00 to midnight. This year’s edition brings together 42 cuisines, over 1,000 dishes and five nights of food, music and culture in one of Malta’s largest open-air squares.

From Maltese and Italian favourites to Indian, Chinese, Venezuelan, Filipino and many more international flavours, the festival is built around one idea: 42 cuisines, 1 island, 5 nights. That is diversity you can taste.

Looking for a food festival in Malta this August? The Malta International Food Festival 2026 brings global cuisine, live music, cultural performances, family activities and a full festival atmosphere to The Granaries in Floriana.

Alongside the food, visitors can expect live music every night on the Main Stage, the Salsa and Bachata Festival on Thursday 6 August, an International Culture Stage celebrating expat communities, an Artisan Area for local makers, a dedicated Kids Zone and a new Chillout and Cocktail Area with DJ sets and drinks. Entry is €5, with tickets available online or at the door.

The festival is pay as you go once inside, with vouchers included with the ticket. Five nights, one square, the whole world on a plate.
