LOSTOGRAPHY: A PASSAGE THROUGH TIME

The exhibition unfolds across three rooms, bringing together digital colour works, black and white pieces and analogue photography. Each room explores a different way of seeing, remembering and preserving what time leaves behind. Looking for a photography exhibition in Valletta this summer? Lostography: A Passage Through Time offers a reflective journey through memory, surfaces, shadows and the quiet tension between what remains and what fades. The works move between the built world and the natural one, using repetition, stillness, texture and light to explore how photographs preserve fragments of the present while also revealing the passage of time. Kathryn Baldacchino works under the name Lostography, an umbrella for the different photographic mediums in her practice. Her work began in London through analogue film and darkroom processes, later continuing in Malta where she built her own darkroom before expanding her practice across analogue and digital photography.
